Report on ethnic vote scandal expected Thursday

The public should get some more information on the Liberal government’s controversial ethnic outreach plan Thursday.

Premier Christy Clark’s Deputy Minister John Dyble  will release the results of his investigation in the morning.

But NDP House Leader John Horgan wonders if Dyble will be able to shed any real light on the scandal.

“We certainly know the premier’s office had a very active role using backchannels to communicate with government officials and with contractors and with members of the Liberal Party in Vancouver, what we dont’ know is if Mr. Dyble did any investigations on that side of the fence.”

LIberal Caucus Chair Gordon Hogg will report to caucus in the afternoon on his own probe into the affair.
