Richmond home invasion

Richmond RCMP are asking for public help in finding four home invaders who bound and assaulted a local woman, and stole seven Hermes handbags from her home, valued at between 5000 and 15-thousand dollars each.

It happened in the middle of the day on June 26th, when two young men knocked on her door in the 7000-block of Petts Road, and talked to her about an insurance claim involvng her vehicle.

When she invited them in, they tied her up and stole numerous suitcases containing the hand bags.

She eventually freed herself and called 9-1-1.

The four suspects are between 20 and 25 years of age, and are believed linked to a silver or charcoal coloured full-size SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, with a hatchback and stock rims.
