Same man believed responsible for recent abduction attempts

RCMP in Langley have a bit more information about a suspect in an attempted abduction February 1st.

On that day, a 12-year old girl walking alone on 205th street was approached by a man — who grabbed her by the wrist.

She pushed him and ran off.

Corporal Holly Marks says investigators believe the same man is responsible for a similar incident on Halloween day in the Fort Langley area.

“In addition to the circumstances now being similar, the suspect descriptions appear to be quite similar as well.”

The suspect is described as a man in his thirties, with brown scruffy hair, a stocky build and a scratch on the right side of his face.

He was wearing a silver banded watch adorned with roman numerals on his right arm.
