While teachers vote today and tomorrow on what to do next in their job action, more support staff in schools have ratified a new, two year contracts that fall within the provincial government’s net zero mandate.
12 new deals include those working in schools in Vancouver, Coquitlam, and Greater Victoria.
To date, 52 out of 69 agreements in BC’s school districts have been ratified, covering 26,600 employees.
