A rescue effort is resuming in Coquitlam after an emergency call from three stranded hikers near Pitt Lake.
A rescue helicopter is planning to search after being grounded by poor weather on Monday.
Al Hurley of Coquitlam Search and Rescue says three men left Squamish Friday and yesterday set off an emergency transmitter about 20 miles up Pitt Lake.
