Surrey RCMP are looking for a suspect in a violent sexual assault.
It happened during the overnight hours of June 2nd.
A 31 year old woman walking home in the Newton area was attacked by a man who’d been hiding in the bushes near Unwin Park, in the 133-hundred block of 68th Avenue.
While the man was sexually assaulting the victim, he threatened to kill her.
The suspect is white, 30-40 years old, about six feet tall with a muscular build.
