Shooting in Abbotsford

Abbotsford Police are investigating a shooting that’s put a 20-year old man in hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Around 10:15 Friday night, police were called to Gladwin and Downes Roads after witnesses saw an exchange of gunfire between two eastbound vehicles.

Minutes later, the victim — who is known to police — turned up in hospital.

Police add they’ve indentified two crime scenes where shots were fired, but they’re not giving the second location.

They do say the shooting wasn’t random and no one is in custody.
