VANCOUVER – Slotback Geroy Simon has signed a contract extension with the B.C. Lions.
Simon led all Lions receivers last season and ranked second in the league with 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns on 84 receptions.
He was named a CFL all-star for sixth time in his 13-year career.
Head coach Mike Benevides says the Lions ”offence thrives when we are able to get the ball in Geroy’s hands.”
The 36-year-old Simon is just 66 yards shy of Milt Stegall’s all-time receiving yardage mark of 15,153.
