One of Vancouver’s most popular athletes is on hand for the re-announcement of a sports therapy clinic in Burnaby.
Trevor Linden is one of six members of the athlete advisory board for the Fortius development centre.
The 61-million dollar facility off Kensington and Joe Sakic way is nearing completion.
It was formerly known as the Multisport Centre of Excellence.
It is now slated to open in the spring.
One third of the funding was donated by Scott Cousens, a prominent mining executive.
The project was also developed by Doctor Jack Taunton and Doctor Rick Celebrini who led the 2010 Olympic medical team.
