St. Paul’s Hospital gets some government cash

The aging electrical infrastructure and elevators at St. Paul’s Hospital will be replaced by way of a $ 17.2-million investment announced by the provincial government Thursday.

The hospital, built in 1894, has been showing its age with a temporary power outage in February, which required a $ 1-mil­lion solution, as well as frequent slow or out-of-order elevator service.
