A woman is dead in Mission, and police suspect murder.
Sergeant Jennifer Pound with the RCMP’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says police were called to the 34000 block of Lougheed Highway at quarter past four after the woman’s body was found in a home.
“At that point the integrated homicide investigation team was called out. We currently have conduct of this investigation. We will be working throughout the night and into tomorrow processing the scene along with the coroner tomorrow, and the integrated forensics identification section.”
The woman has yet to be identified. There are no suspects at this point.
Investigators will be working overnight and a coroner is being called in to assist.
