Teen stabbed to death on Tsawwassen First Nation land

A 16-year old girl is dead and a 15-year old girl is in critical condition after a stabbing last night on the Tsawwassen First Nation reserve.

Delta Police Constable Ciaran Feenan says their investigation is in its early stages.

“At this point we do have a known suspect.  We can’t speak to who he is because we do not want to compromise the investigation.”

Feenan adds the victims and the suspect knew each other and the attack was not random.

Police were called to the reserve just after ten last night for a report of a stabbing.

Officers arrived to find the two victims lying on the ground.
