Teenage girl arrested for allegedly stabbing ex-boyfriend at skytrain station

Transit Police say they’ve arrested a 17 year old girl accused of stabbing her 28 year old ex-boyfriend.

The force says the two had been drinking Friday afternoon and evening, and the girl allegedly followed the man onto a bus and skytrain where they argued.

She is accused of stabbing him in the leg at the Gateway skytrain station in Surrey early Saturday morning.

Transit Police say the girl ran from the platform via an emergency exit, but was apprehended while on the stairs.

She remains in custody and is set to be in court in Surrey on Monday.

She is charged with assault with a weapon.

The victim was treated for his injuries and was released Saturday morning.
