The BC Conservative party candidate in Chilliwack Hope says his campaign has been the target of a big vandalism spree
John Martin says to date they have had 100 signs torn down in multiple spates of vandalism.
He said “We were struck again last night. Every single one of our big four by fours was destroyed in Chilliwack, every single one. You know that is about forty signs altogether and that is the third time that has happened. We have had over a hundred signs destroyed.”
When asked who or what is behind the vandalism Martin wouldn’t, exactly, point fingers.
He said “Well someone that obviously doesn’t want the Conservatives to get their message out.”
The NDP say they had ten signs vandalized last night.
And the BC Liberals say the behaviour is unacceptable and note they too have had signs damaged or simply just taken.
