The leader of the BC Conservative party says the ruling Liberals are finished

The leader of the BC Conservatives says the latest Angus Reid polling numbers show it will be a two horse race next election.

 John Cummins says the numbers show its clear it will be either his party or the NDP forming government

  And he isn’t gunning for second.

  “You go for first when you are in an election a silver medal doesn’t pay well and no we are gunning to be government the next time around that has always been the objective we think that it is achievable that it is reachable and we will continue to work hard to make it happen.”

 Cummins says he tries to get to excited or too depressed by poll numbers.

 But Cummins adds good polling numbers can get members excited and bring others into the party.
 
 He says the choice in the next election is clear.

  “I think that British Columbians are more and more beginning to recognize that you know that the Liberals have simply lost the opportunity to form the next government its not going to happen and I think more and more of them are realizing that if they want to avoid an NDP government in this province the only option is the BC Conservatives.”

 The BC Tories are up three points sitting at 22% support.

 While Cummins is three points behind second place Christy Clark as best choice for premier
