Three killed in Okanagan plane crash

 

Three people are presumed dead in a crash of a float plane last night within sight of drivers on the Okanagan Connector.

Four people were on board the plane when it left Pitt Meadows airport.

One person was dropped off in Kelowna.

Originally five people were to make the trip.

Bill Yearwood with the Transportation Safety Board says  the plane was returning to Pitt Meadows when it went down.

The plane was privately registered.
