A two-and-a-half year old girl has fallen to her death from a Surrey apartment building.
Emergency responders were called about 8:15 Thursday evening to a building near 108th and University to investigate.
The girl’s body was found on the 2nd floor canopy over the building’s entrance. She was taken to hospital but died from her injuries about 9:30.
RCMP Sgt. Paul Reshaur: “Our investigation is ongoing but, at this point, we think it was just a tragic accident where child managed to get out the open balcony door and managed to climb over the railing.”
