Transit groper sent packing

A man with outstanding warrants in South Korea is on his way back to that country after Transit Police say he was caught touching what he shouldn’t.

Anne Drennan with Transit Police says border officials deported 49 year old Seung Woo Min who had had been living in Vancouver illegally.

Drennan says he was found out after witnesses reported a man groping women on transit.

“We knew which line he was travelling on, had good information on  his description from the witness and there he was right in front of us, and in fact he was caught in the act”

Drennan says if witnesses or victims give transit police a good description of a crime, video surveillance allows them to quickly pin down a suspect.

She says Min’s alleged crimes in South Korea are financial and date back to the mid-nineties.
