Two gangsters plead guilty to drug trafficking charges

Two more gangsters arrested in the drug operation that took down Jarrod Bacon and Wayne Scott, have seen similar fates.

BC’s Gang task force has announced 52 year old United Nations gang co-founder Doug Vanalstine and 33 year old Daryl Johnson have entered guilty pleas to a charge of conspiracy to traffick cocaine.

Task force chief officer Dan Malo says Vanalstine and Johnson will likely be in prison for a long time.

“I think the proof is that Jarrod Bacon receives a sentence of 12 years, which is considerable in Canada, and considerable for the charge of conspiracy to trafficking cocaine.”

Charges against the fifth man arrested as part of “project e-pintile”, Nicholas Wester, were stayed this morning as part of the plea deal.
