Two people injured after boats collide near Third Beach

Two people have been taken to hospital after their boat collided with another boat near Third Beach in Vancouver late Saturday night.

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre says they were notified about 10:30.

The two people were on a boat about 20 feet in size–the boat it collided with was about 60 feet.

The 20 footer was towed up onto the beach at Stanley Park.

The JRCC says the two people possibly suffered facial injuries.
