Two separate shootings in Surrey leave three men dead

A violent Sunday night in Surrey left three men dead.

RCMP Inspector Dan Splinter says the victim of a gang related shooting on 168th Street and 76th Avenue passed away in hospital.

He was shot multiple times at around 7pm.

And the Intigrated Homicide Investigation Team is now investigating another shooting that happened just after 11:30pm.

“We received some complaints of shots fired in the 9400 block of 128th Street.  Our members attended very quickly and found two males deceased just inside a parkade in one of the apartment complexes on the street.”

Splinter says multiple bullet casings were found on the scene.

RCMP are not sure whether the second incident is gang related.

Splinter adds it’s too early to say whether the cases are connected.
