One person has serious injuries – after a minivan crashed into a basement suite in Surrey early this morning.
It happened around 3:00am – near 125th Street and 72nd Avenue.
R.C.M.P. Staff Sergeant Bob Pinkewicz says the crash even started a fire in the unit.
“The resident in the basement sustained significant, serious injuries and was transported to hospital.”
The three people in the minivan fled the scene – however the Mounties were able to catch one of them.
He’s facing multiple charges.
