Veteran North Shore Mountie slams RCMP brass

Another mountie has taken a very public shot at his boss in Ottawa.

In a letter released today, veteran North Vancouver officer Peter Kennedy slams Commissioner Bob Paulson for appearing to be more worried about themselves or their image, rather than the rank-and-file membership.

Kennedy also criticizes Paulson for the way he responded to an email from Ridge Meadows Staff Sergeant Tim Chad.

In that exchange, Chad accused Paulson of eroding the trust of the membership, while Canada’s top mountie told Chad he was “living under a rock.”

Kennedy says Paulson was “arrogant” and “condescending” in his response – behaviour more worthy of angry teenager.
