She will ask you for the time… and then steal your stuff.
Police in Victoria say a Christmas grinch is hoodwinking mall goers who are kind enough to pull out their cell phones and provide her with the time of day.
“But then showing the suspect that they have them on them, so that’s when the robbery is happening. In this case, last night, certainly concerning to us… was a large knife was produced and pointed at one of the girls. Certainly concerning for us and we’re glad that everybody is safe but certainly did lose some property there.”
Constable Mike Russell says they believe the same woman is responsible for two robberies — one at Hillside Mall, the other at Mayfair Shopping Centre.
The suspect should be hard to miss: she has dyed blonde hair, with a blue streak in it… she also has a silver stud in her nose.
