VPD request your help finding missing person

Vancouver Police are asking for your help locating a handicapped 18 year old boy.

Quintin Martin was last seen at about 8:30 Tuesday morning near the 11 hundred block east 53rd Avenue where he was to board a bus to school. Quintin never arrived.

Shortly after 1:00 p.m. he made a call to his support worker, but it is unknown from where or from what number he called.

Quintin has developmental challenges, paralysis in his left hand, wears a brace on his left leg and walks with a limp. He has some vision, but is legally blind.

Family and police are concerned for his well being.

He is aboriginal, 6 feet tall, 200 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He has acne and has braces on his teeth.

Quintin was last seen wearing a long blue ski jacket, baggy blue jeans, white and blue runners, a red and black baseball cap and was carrying a ‘Roots’ brand backpack.

If you see Quintin Martin you are asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.
