West Van police looking for woman who punched cabbie

West Vancouver police are looking for a woman who punched a taxi driver in the face.

They say a 43-year-old cabbie was driving his fare over the Lions Gate Bridge last week around 2 a.m. when the woman threw up in the car.

The driver pulled over at the north end of the bridge and asked her to get out.

They started arguing and the woman paid her fare, but punched the driver in the face before leaving.

The cabbie drove straight to the police station to report her.

Anyone who recognizes her is asked to call West Vancouver police.
