Young girl assaulted on bus

A 30-year-old Vancouver man has been charged after a young girl was sexually assaulted on a bus.

Transit Police reported they were looking for a suspect who sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl back in late August.

They say she was on a bus near the P-N-E when she noticed a man approaching.

He followed her onto the next bus, and then pressed up behind her and grabbed her buttocks.

She then ran to the Brentwood Skytrain station for help.

Now charged with sexual interference with a child under 16 is Jean Pierre Moyindu, who is set to appear in court next on October 3rd.

Police add media coverage since first publicly reporting the assault has brought forward two other potential victims.
