A 12 year old girl is in critical condition in Children’s Hospital after being struck by a car while trying to dart across a busy street in Richmond Wednesday afternoon.
It happened on Francis Road near 3 Road about 4pm.
Witnesses say the girl was not in a crosswalk when she was hit by an eastbound car.
The driver stayed at the scene.
RCMP ask anyone with information to contact them.
