Suspect in Metrotown attack reaches out to police

A wheelchair-bound man who's accused of attacking a pregnant woman at the Metrotown Skytrain station in February has come forward and given a statement to Transit Police. Homicide investigators say the man found dead in a Surrey ditch yesterday morning was Jaskaran Singh Sandhu from the Lower Mainland. Richmond brothers aquitted in gay-bashing attack

Two brothers accused of beating a gay couple in Vancouver have been aquitted. Charges have been laid against a 14-year-old boy who is believed to have taken part in the sexual assault of a fellow teenage boy in Prince George last week. A young man with a history of drug abuse and violence has been sentenced to jail time for attacking a bus driver in Surrey last February. A 16 year old boy has now been charged in connection with a brutal attack on a 64 year old security guard.
