Backcountry skiiers caught in Mount Washington avalanche are OK

Skiier rescued in North Shore Backcountry

Another successful day for North Shore Search and Rescue. A 51-year-old man was on the East Face of West Vancouver's Hollyburn Mountain when he injured his knee while backcountry skiing. Avalanche risk causes difficulty for North Shore Search and Rescue trying to reach snowboarder stuck in Cypress backcountry
