The new Catholic Bishop for the Prince George region is a priest from Vancouver. Monsignor Stephen Jensen was appointed today by Pope Benedict. The 58-year old is currently the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Vancouver. He's replacing Bishop Gerald Wiesner who must retire after turning 75 in June.
