A train derailment in Surrey shut down two lanes on scott road Monday night. Southern Railway of BC President Frank Butzelaar explained the extent of the mess, "The train consisted of five locomotives and fifty railcars, and we have two locomotives that derailed and one boxcar." A new survey from Statistics Canada shows, on average, we spend about 30 minutes travelling to and from work. And that average commute time gets even longer if you take public transit.
