The BC Coroners Service has identified the man shot dead by police at a standoff at the Starlight Casino. He was 48-year-old Mehrdad Bayrami of Richmond. The coroner has identified a person whose foot bones washed ashore in Sasamat Lake in Port Moody last November as a man missing after a boating accident two and a half decades ago.
