A Cranbrook man is lucky he wasn't more seriously hurt after his SUV plummeted 100 feet down an embankment. The man says he went off the road sometime Saturday night, and he survived overnight in his vehicle. A 28-year-old babysitter in Cranbrook has been charged with second-degree murder in the drowning death of a 19-month old girl in May.
