According to a report compiled by the Vancouver Police Department, violent crime has dropped in the city for the sixth year running. In 2012, violent crime affected 9.58 out of a thousand people. Delta Police have arrested a man, wanted in Arizona for sex crimes against a child. Tories take credit for reduction in crime

The number of crimes reported to police is continuing to go down. Statistics Canada says crime reporting is at its lowest level since 1972.
