Fire damages lumber mill in Surrey

A Surrey lumber mill has been damaged by fire. Crews were called to "Fraserview Cedar Products" on 144th Street near Hyland Road around 1am and found a warehouse engulfed in flames. Fire damages garage full of plastic mould materials

A detached garage is damaged after a fire Sunday afternoon. Crews in Surrey arrived at 120th street near 99th avenue shortly after 1p-m to find flames and heavy smoke. A fire at an Abbotsford lumber mill had smoke visible to much of the Fraser Valley this morning. A portable classroom at Langley's Noel Booth Elementary has been damaged by fire. The blaze broke out around 3:00 a.m. at the school on 35 Avenue near 200 Street.
