A man in his 80s is in hospital in grave condition following a house fire in North Delta this morning. The Corporation of Delta has reduced flood warnings for the storm predicted to strike in the early hours of Monday morning. Westshore Industries at Delta Port dealing with a mess this morning after a freighter ran into one of their ship births. Man shot in robbery at Delta strip mall

Two men have been taken to hospital after a robbery and shooting in Delta this evening. Constable Ciaran Feenan says police were called just before 6:30 to a strip mall in the 9300 block of Scott Road. A flagger in Delta was hit by a car on Centre Street and River Road Sunday evening. Delta Police Sgt. Sharlene Brooks says alcohol was a factor. She says the flag person is expected to be okay.
