Delta at odds with Translink over park-and-ride lots

Fire destroys barn in Delta

It took several hours and the efforts of firefighters from four halls to knock down a barn fire in Delta. The flames broke out just before midnight at the barn on 104th Street near 59th Avenue. Delta taxpayers could be on the hook for damages in the car crash that killed four-year-old Alexa Middelaer in 2008. Delta Police have arrested a man, wanted in Arizona for sex crimes against a child. George Ross Wilcox never showed up for his trial in Pima County Arizona in 2009, but was convicted anyway of two counts of sexual contact with a minor. Drug lab shut down in North Delta

Police have shut down a meth lab in North Delta. Federal and city officers descended on a home near 118 Street and 73A Avenue yesterday afternoon and found a lab where a half kilo of meth could be produced each week.
