UPDATED: Coroner now says case of ‘human’ foot is probably a false alarm.

Power outages in Vancouver’s False Creek area

Nearly a thousand people in Vancouver are in the dark this hour, because a bird flew into power lines. According to B.C. Hydro, most of the affected customers are in the area between just west of the Cambie Bridge and Quebec Street, and about 5th Avenue all the way to False Creek.
