Modest economic growth forecast for Vancouver

The Conference Board of Canada predicts Vancouver's economy will grow slightly  this year. The board's winter metropolitan outlook says Vancouver's economic growth is expected to accelerate slightly from 2.5 per cent last year to 2.9 per cent this year,  as manufacturing continues to recover. Slower economic growth predicted

The provincial economy may not grow as quickly as expected over the next couple of years. The Independent Economic Forecast Council is trimming its predicted growth rates for BC by one tenth of a point for the next two years. BC growth rate a little slower this time around
