Microsoft moves another 20 million Windows 8 licenses over holiday season, 100 million total app downloads

Vancouver police nab lots of drunk drivers in holiday DUI campaign

The numbers are in from the first weekend of the Vancouver police counter attack and they're not good. Last Friday and Saturday officers pulled 60 impared drivers off the road. Victoria police had a busy first holiday DUI blitz

Police in Victoria caught nearly 30 impaired drivers during their first counterattack blitz of the holiday season. Over the weekend, 29 drivers were taken off the road and 143 tickets were issued for various infractions. Officers also ordered the inspection of 19 vehicles with visible safety defects.
