Avalanche kills skier in Revelstoke

An avalanche has claimed the life of a backcountry skier in Revelstoke. Officials say it happened in the Greely Lake area, on the north side of Mount MacKenzie, in an area out of bounds for the nearby resort. Three skiers in a group of six were buried. Car crash into Vancouver light pole kills 26-year-old passenger

Vancouver police are investigating after a car crashed into a light pole early this morning, killing a passenger.
