Float plane crash kills 1 in Williams Lake

RCMP say a Cessna float plane crashed in Williams Lake yesterday, killing its pilot. The lone passenger survived, however. New hospital in the works for Burns Lake

The provincial government is moving ahead with plans for a new hospital for Burns Lake. Construction is expected to start next year with completion in 2015.  The project would create about 200 jobs for the community which lost its sawmill in a fire this past January.
