Charity marks milestone

More than seven years after a new dad helped a homeless man by giving him a blanket, the charity 'Blanket BC' has heavily multiplied that generosity. Annual “Walk for Peace” marks 30 years

More than 5,000 people are expected to take part in this afternoon's "Walk for Peace." This year marks the event's 30th anniversary. It began in 1982 -- at the height of the nuclear arms race.
