Poppy fund collection boxes swiped in Chilliwack

Chilliwack RCMP are investigating the theft of six poppy fund collection boxes from businesses along Vedder Road. The thefts occured over the past five days and were discovered when members of the Royal Canadian Legion attended to change out the boxes. Six Remembrance Day ‘poppy pots’ have been stolen from local North Shore businesses, RCMP said Tuesday.
