Union Gospel Mission serves Easter meal to thousands

The Union Gospel Mission expects to serve more than 3,000 meals today - as part of its annual Easter celebration in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. 3,000 pounds of ham, 900 pounds of potatoes and a whole lot of apple pie are just a few of the items on the menu. BCGEU serves strike notice on PavCo

The BC Government and Service Employees' union is serving strike notice on BC Pavillion Corporation that runs BC Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre. BC’s Transportation Minister serves notice to Translink fare cheats

Fare evaders take notice, Translink is getting some new teeth. The provincial government is making big changes to the legislation that governs the agency in order to crack down on cheaters.
