B.C. Metis leader hails court decision to grant his people Indian status

A federal court has ruled that Métis and other non-status Indians do indeed have status, and so fall under federal jurisdiction. City of Vancouver credit status lowered by Moody’s following Provincial downgrade

The City of Vancouver says they will continue to borrow money as needed for capital projects, despite a downgrading in their credit rating.
