Spate of North Vancouver vehicle thefts abnormal says RCMP

North Vancouver RCMP is calling a spike of vehicle break-ins on the night of Boxing Day abnormal. Corporal  Douglas Trousdell says more than 30 vehicles were targeted overnight, with the number expected to rise as reports continue to trickle in. He says Mounties don't have a suspect yet. Bike thefts on the rise

Vancouver Police are reporting a spike in bike thefts in the city. Between January first and may 31st, 554 bikes were stolen, compared to 338 for the same period last year.
