It looks like Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel may not be demolished. Waldorf hotel to close down

East Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel is closing down. The Waldorf has been sold to a real estate company that plans to put up condos. The hotel was built back in 1947, and after some pretty run-down years, made a comeback in 2010 with a new look and attitude. The hotel will be closed as of January 20th.
