It appears two people have been murdered in Burnaby.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is on-scene at a business in the 6500 block of Royal Oak Avenue.
Sgt. Jenn Pound says Burnaby RCMP responded about 9:30 Sunday night.
Someone walking by the business–which was closed–had noticed someone on the floor inside.
“Burnaby RCMP attended and located two deceased individuals within a business, and it appeared that those individuals were the victims of foul play.”
The business is reportedly a sushi restaurant, though Pound is not confirming that, nor any details about the victims.
Royal Oak Avenue is closed between Kingsway and Grimmer.
